Sometimes getting a good bargain is what sways your decision in buying . You may not haggle over the price or raise eye brows at the tag but seeing the price slashed on the tag gives you the nudge that decides the fate of the product. You get it home guilt free , not that buying is a problem especially if you are your own boss but it does give you a happy feeling like a surprise gift or winning a prize.
So, my friend and me decide to go saree shopping in Belgaum and we visit this exclusive showroom called Geetanjali who boasts of a collection to suit every pocket and taste. Sure enough we select about six sarees from pure georgette bandhani , printed silk, tusser to cottons in the most amazing prints and colours and as we are getting our purchases billed I spot this bright yellow crepe saree being shown to a client from the ‘On sale ‘ section .
The striking combination of sunshine yellow with royal blue and purple print had my eyes glued to it. Just feeling the soft texture had me convinced and the slashed price was like the icing on my cake . It’s a dream to drape and very easy to handle.
