Being a part of the #100sareepact has revived our interest in sarees. Not only did we wear 100 sarees in the year 2016 , but we continued to wear them on every possible occasion. After my move to Goa I did give away many of my sarees assuming I wouldn’t be draping too many in this city of beaches, only to start buying and borrowing the most elegant attire again.
Kolkatta cottons are my all time favorite after bandhanis so my wardrobe has two stacks of neatly starched cottons in every possible color . My friends are amazed at how I can carry off a saree with such ease even at work. Frankly for me its the most comfortable attire , not only does it hides all the extra flab you don’t want noticed but it also give you the feeling of being very elegantly dressed.
My saree for today is a Kolkatta cotton in the brightest of yellow and a double stranded necklace of agates designed by me.
